MISSION STATEMENTTo inform and educate the public to vote no on all three Center Grove Community School Corporation's construction referendum questions. We would propose a fiscally responsible alternative plan that continues to provide a high-quality education for every student. Our approach avoids a property tax increase on top of the 1 percent tax cap. We recognize the current economic hardships of our fellow residents and taxpayers. We want to promote a well-balanced student-centered plan that provides the best opportunities for all of our children in a fiscally responsible framework .

Our school system has painted itself into a financial corner with mismanagement by both the administration and school board. This has resulted in the Superintendent recommending shutting down one of our schools. Perhaps they should look at eliminating the $1 a year insurance benefit package that is offered to administrative personnel along with two athletic coaches. This alone would surpass the targeted savings of $300,000 that the Superintendent is shooting for with the school closure!
